Heavy, so has great functionality. I dont love how it looks but I dont like how any standing paper towel holder looks. I like how thick the bottom is but its more brown than black. Happy with it even if a few negative comments. I ended up recently with a lot of Kohler products but would never have seen this except for Wayfair. P
