It’s a decent cutting board! It is dry upon arrival and needs to be oiled with cutting board seasoning. But there are no splinters or anything. It’s a medium thickness and weight. I bought this as separate cutting board to cut raw meat on and so far it’s doing just fine.

I love this cutting board. The notched edge trench catches juices or debris and cleans up very easily. This was a great purchase!
