I bought this to go w the dried rose matte mixer that I purchased last fall. It does NOT match. I think they redid this mixer and changed the color slightly. It is a much darker pink. So be warned- if you purchased the matte rose mixer prior to 2023, it will not match perfectly. Very disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] KitchenAid has an impeccable reputation, and I’m always confident when choosing their items, knowing I won’t be disappointed. And that assumption holds true with the 5 Quart Tilt-Head Metallic Finish Stainless Steel Bowl…it’s sleek, well crafted, and built to last and last and last. I have a white matte KitchenAid mixer, and I had a ceramic textured black mixing bowl that I absolutely loved, but my sweet, young daughter dropped it on the floor, and that was the end of that. I was using a silver bowl, which worked fine, but certainly wasn’t as striking as my ceramic bowl, so when I saw this one, dark and gorgeous, but with the lasting power of steel, it was perfect. It came in pristine condition, well packaged and properly buffered. Obviously as it’s stainless steel, it will last for years to come, so this will probably be passed down to the same daughter that was too small to handle my ceramic one. There is a handle that’s sturdy and wide, easily and comfortably accommodating my hand, as well as my daughter and my husband’s. The interior of the bowl is standard steel color, while the outer surface has a smooth, smokey black sheen. The bottom of the bowl is crafted so that it can be attached to your KitchenAid mixer by twisting it at the base. It turns smoothly and easily, and if you are at all familiar with how KitchenAid mixers function, there are no surprises here. And if this is your first, they are intuitive to use, simple enough for a novice, but built for experts. KitchenAid products are meticulously crafted, and meant to be used and used well. So far the bowl looks as gorgeous as it did when I first pulled it from the box. Eventually I’ll pick up another ceramic bowl, even if just to look beautiful on my countertop, but in the meantime, this one is almost as beautiful, and far more durable. I am completely pleased and highly recommend!
