The pot retains heat well, which makes it extremely efficient. We were able to have a big pot of soup on simmer, and serve friends and family throughout a 6 hour party. It isn’t easy to find a pot in this capacity made of this quality level!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I previously had a stock pot that I used to make all sorts of soups and pastas, but after it broke I kept telling myself I needed a new one despite not finding one that seemed to be the right shape and size. I've always liked Hestan brand, and since I was in desperate need of some smaller sauce pans, it seemed like a good time to also get a new stock pot. I love this. It's big enough to make homemade soups, to toss together a rice casserole dish, and just generally be a good all-purpose pot. I'm really happy to have it!
