[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like many, I've been DIY-ing double boilers using ill-fitting stainless steel mixing bowls over pots of water my whole life. I bought this when I got the 3 quart hestan soup pot/steamer combo and it is by far one of the best purchases I've ever made for my kitchen! The clad construction makes for perfectly balanced temperatures throughout using, the long handle is a game-changer (no more lifting a wonky, short-rimmed bowl full of liquid off a pot of hot water!), and it fits so snug and perfectly in my Hestan soup pot--also easy to store stacked as I just set it in the steamer insert and put the lid in top! I love it and will never again dread seeing "using a double boiler. . . " in a recipe ever again😂🥰

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do a significant amount of baking, many recipes requiring dipped chocolate, and this double boiler is exceptional. The fit of the insert limits steam escaping and contains mess. No surprises with Hestan!
