This, for me, is the perfect in-between fit because I like temperature control and our All-Clad pans stay hot for a pretty long time. This pan, on the other hand, is very responsive but still retains heat, so it hits the sweet spot in terms of size (not splashing all over the counter because the pan is pretty big), weight (because it feels a lot lighter than our equivalent All-Clad Copper Core), and responsiveness (in terms of turning down the heat or adjusting up and down as you're cooking multiple items in a frying pan). I just love this addition to our family!
