I bought this to coordinate with the Hansgrohe faucet we got for our kitchen remodel. I wanted to ensure both items matched identically (color wise) which is why I bought this soap dispenser but I caution others that the pump has a short range in that the soap dispenses out almost vertically, straight down. I wanted something with a bit more force, so I could just pump it into the sink as I wash dishes but I can't do that with this one--it doesn't clear the lip of the counter, if that makes sense. My last one was much more forceful; I'm likely to replace this one down the road.

The Hansgrohe stainless steel soap dispenser for the Interaktiv series is sylish and goes well with other compenents in the series. The top of the dispenser is made of a metalicized plastic, not of stainless steel. I has a lighter, more yellow hue than the true stainless of the Hansgrohe faucet I purchased, however. The actual pump is made of the same plastic, spring, and ball that can be found on products of any price line. I hope it holds up, but is not up to the quality look and feel of other Hansgrohe products. Overall, it is attractive, but not of obvious quality.
