I purchased the 7 inch Global cleaver. I love it. I have a global knife collection. I was missing the clever. It cuts well, cuts through bone amazing! I have small hands and the 7 inch is perfect for my hands. Butchers clean. I recommend washing this by hand to increase the longevity of the blade.

Balanced and sharp. Very nice construction. My knives are all Global and they can also take a good sharpening to make brand new again. This is a great brand overall and this specific product hits the same level of excellence.

The Global Cleaver is a great addition to my Global knife set. I do a lot of cooking and count on sharp, light weight, maneuverable knives with exceptional edge retention - Global offers it all. This cleaver has superior one piece construction as compared to two less expensive stainless cleavers with wooden handles that are being replaced. Unlike some of my pricey Japanese carbon steel knives, the Global’s do not require the high degree of maintenance. Gord
