The GE Profile Opal is an excellent ice maker and absolutely worth it if you enjoy soft, chewable nugget ice. It produces ice quickly, has a sleek premium design, and is very easy to use. The ice has the perfect texture for sodas, cocktails, iced coffee, or just chewing on its own. I also like that it keeps producing ice throughout the day without much attention. It feels well built and looks great on the countertop. A fantastic addition to the kitchen and one of those appliances you quickly wonder how you lived without.

This makes the best ice! I does need to be cleaned very frequently so realize that when you’re buying. It’s kinda involved cleaning too so just beware.
