double oven

The range is really nice. I love the double ovens, the air fryer and convection! The gas stove allows me to precisely cook, simmer... Having 2 ovens is so convenient and increases the capacity allowing me to cook multiple courses so much easier. Having the abilty to cook in the convection, regular oven and air fryer saves me time- less time in the kitchen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a Chef Connect compatible over-the-range microwave to go with this range. I love the convenience of the synchronized vent, light, and clock. I appreciate two fewer devices to reset every time the power goes out or a daylight savings event occurs. I know, minor conveniences, but this unit provides plenty of them that make a world of difference when added up. I appreciate having both the 30-minute steam cleaning and 5-hour self cleaning functions. If you use the 30-minute one somewhat regularly, it makes keeping the oven clean very easy with a quick wipe down, but the longer option is still there for that accidental nasty mess. Pots boil quickly and the double-sided griddle/grill make this unit quite versatile. I just wish the oven came with a built-in probe thermometer.

We love our new GE gas range and the 2 separate ovens are a huge bonus for cooking items at different temperatures. We also really enjoy the reversible flat cooking surface in the center of the range. The only con is that we wish the heat under that surface was more distributed from end to end because we find ourselves unable to use the full cooking surface because the heating element is only in the middle.

So far I am enjoying my new range with double oven. But I have not been able to connect the WiFi to the smart house app. Also considering the cost of the range I was disappointed that GE did not provide a physical copy of the owner’s manual. Not everyone has a printer.
