Beautiful fridge. Lots of space.

GE Profile PXD22BYPDFS — Refrigerator door fails to complete the self-close process. Door moves normally until approximately 6 inches from the fully closed position, where resistance increases sharply and reaches a maximum. The door then rebounds/opening occurs rather than close. If the door is manually pushed past this point to approximately 2 inches from closed, it immediately closes normally. I have inspected the door-closing mechanism and observed excessive interference between the cam and the door-stop pin (WR02X44688) at the peak-contact position. This appears to be a mechanical door-stop/cam dimensional or alignment issue, not a leveling issue. There is no room for any adjustment of the alignment.

The left door of this GE refrigerator could not close properly. It requires a hard push all the way to close, otherwise it will stay ajar. After the push to close, the left door is uneven against the right door. Poor design, poor assemble, and poor quality control for such a simple and old technology for door.

Definitely NOT the quality I expected. It feels very light and cheap. But something else! Anything else.

We are very pleased with the new GE refrigerator. The automatic fill on the water dispenser is very convenient. The middle drawer is very handy. All the features on this model are just what we wanted.
