• The way our knobs feel is as important as how they look.
• Our knobs are solid so they feel substantial in your hand. The backs are carved into a gentle curve so they meet your fingers gracefully, with enough room so your fingers don't get stuck. We even hide a small metal pin in the base of each knob to keep it from becoming crooked.
• Our sand casting process purposely creates surface variations. Grains are allowed to leave their traces, producing a range with just the right balance between rough and smooth.
• Over time, Foundry Art bronze tiles develop a mellow patina.
• Indoors, wet or dry.
• When your tiles arrive, some may appear darker than others. During installation, grout will polish them and minimize the variation.
• Tiles can typically be cleaned with the same household cleaner used for the surrounding tile or stone.
