[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This skimmer from Fissler feels like one of those buy-it-for-life items that's ready to take on the chaos of my cooking style. Ever since details about microplastics in our environment have emerged, I've been slowly upgrading all of my cookware to stainless steel. After using this a few times, I can confirm that this is one of the finest utensils I own, and well worth the cost. They've managed to turn the humble soup ladle into my favorite tool. It even LOOKS nice. Washes easy in the dishwasher. Overall, I'm super impressed by the craftsmanship and quality of the material. It's got a nice weight to it, and as someone who lives in a household with both left and right-handed people, I'm grateful that they considered both in the design.
