I've had my new Dyson Animal vacuum for less than a month and it is truly unbelievable. I bought it to replace an older model and the suction on this new model is incredible. I'm also pretty embarrassed to say that Using the Lighted head on my wood floors has highlighted so much more than dog hair, Including dust. The vacuum is incredible. I have a yellow lab who sheds quite a bit, and although I thought I was getting the dog hair up , My old vacuum was missing quite a lot. The suction is great, the runtime is terrific, the maneuverability of the vacuum really works under and around furniture, And the dust bin is very easy to empty. I am so happy that I made the switch. I feel like my house is much cleaner too! Nice job Dyson. I am a very happy customer !

This is my third high-end cordless Dyson. It may be better on paper than my previous Dyson vacuums, but in actual use I don’t notice much of an improvement. It has some new features that I like, but they all seem to come with trade-offs. The smaller dust bin is nice, but now you have to stop and compress the dirt. The new power button is more convenient than a trigger, but I find myself leaving it running when spot cleaning. The biggest downside is that the tools, stand, and extra batteries from my previous Dysons aren’t compatible. Overall, it’s different, but not really better. If you already have another flagship Dyson, I don’t think it’s worth upgrading.

I have been very pleased with my v16 piston ort vacuum. I like everything about it with a few minor exceptions. The release to empty the dust bin is difficult to get off. I have to put a foot on the base and push red button and pull 4 or 5 times to release. Also I can only vacuum on eco on our low pile patterned rug, it doesn't adjust automatically and won't move on auto setting. Those are the only problems, other than that I am very happy with this vacuum.

I was happy to receive the Dyson V16 Piston Animal Cordless Vacuum. The vacuum is one of their most powerful cordless vacuums. It has a 70 minute run time. I can vacuum my whole house and the battery has 65% power left!! Since it has a long runtime the battery is a little heavy. The vacuum connects via bluetooth. You can connect it to the Dyson app. You can adjust the illumination and the brush speed settings. The vacuum is tall so you can vacuum comfortably. It has many attachments. A crevice tool a fluffy tool-perfect for floors. It also has a motorized attachment capable of picking up long hair without tangling. It is perfect for carpets. There is also a similar smaller attachment like this perfect for steps and upholstery. The dust bin is large and you can compress the dirt so you can continue vacuuming. You can release the dust bin without having to touch the dirt. Best of all is the optic illumination. This is something I really need. My house tends to be dark because of the brick and the wood. This feature helps illuminate the floor so I can see the dirt better. It really shows you the dirt you can’t see with the naked eye!! It has a washable Hepa filter. It is fairly easy to maneuver and Dyson is making more attachments for this vacuum like a flexible crevice tool perfect for cleaning under furniture. I recommend this vacuum for the power the light to see the dirt and various attachments.
