Before washing pots and pans made out of stainless steel, they need to cool down. Glass lids, in particular, can be damaged by temperature shocks. Our cookware is easy and convenient to clean and dishwasher-safe. But we recommend cleaning it by hand with warm water, a little washing-up liquid, and a soft cloth. Serious dirt on the inside and base of the cookware can be removed using the rough side of a sponge. Do not allow remnants of food to dry to avoid stains or discoloration on the stainless steel. Use proprietary stainless steel cleaners, lemon juice, or vinegar to remove white or rainbow-colored discoloration and deposits. Do not use your cookware to hold acidic food for any length of time and avoid aggressive cleaning agents as they can damage the surface.

This is a wonderful pan. So glad I purchased it. Even heating and came clean with no scrubbing! Also love the handles don’t get hot. I’ve thrown out pans because the handles would get hot and burn you.

I have used this twice since I got it. It's a great size and love the depth. I have several Demeyere pieces and have been very impressed with them-which is why I bought this piece. They don't seem to make the "style" of my other pots and pans so that was disappointing. But, it's the performance that counts, and their cookware is top notch!

Love this Demeyere 5-Plus 4-quart sauté pan. It's a bit heavy, but I love the double handles. I made some fish in it and it came out great, nice and evenly browned. Cleaning it is a bit of a pain compared to my non-stick pans, but it's not too bad since there aren't any rivets on the inside.

While it is a good sauté pan and heats evenly on my induction cooktop I was anticipating far better. Will likely go back to my All-Clad pots/pans
