Would work well on a sliding door, there are some issues using the fingers to open and close on my bifold door leading to Formal front room.

I have no issues with the product itself. The crazy price per piece is another story. I bought these to replace old polished gold ones from the 80's. I needed this particular smaller size (which I am assuming is no longer the norm) because I searched high and wide for this size. From my searching, I realized the industry has segued to larger sized pulls. All the larger pulls were much less in price than these smaller ones. As a result, I had to pay a small fortune to get this smaller size! I had bought two of them a ways back to make sure they worked. Then I had to buy 4 more for other doors. But it beat having to cut larger openings in the six-panel doors and take a chance of messing up the doors themselves. If you need this size, this product is good. Just don't gasp at the price!

These pulls were a great value. They're long enough that you can slide four fingers into it. I have them on sliding doors that are heavy, large, and on wooden tracks without rollers, so having more space to pull on these drawers is important. They're great looking, especially in my mid-century modern space. I looked a lot online and in the big box stores for pulls and some were very expensive, and the big box ones looked cheap. These were neither.
