The Pull is VERY sturdy. The plastic envelope it was shipped in was NOT. It clearly got stuck in a machine somewhere along the line, and the rollers chewed a hole through the envelope, through the product bag, and scraped the finish off the Pull. Fortunately, the damage is on the back side, so it won't show once it's installed. I got lucky. How lucky do you feel?
