Great coffee machine! Milk frother is easy to use and clean. Only issue is that the plastic milk jug warped in the dishwasher and now the white milk frother component won’t fit properly. Called Nespresso to get a new milk jug and it is out of stock with no restock date available.

I've had this machine for about a month. Switched from a good "K" brand model. Happy with the switch and this does make fabulous coffee. Not for the 40 oz coffee tumbler but a more gourmet small coffee experience. So because it doesn't make a large brew, you will still keep a bigger coffee machine when entertaining. That being said, this machine makes a cup very quickly, so people wouldn't be waiting long if the group wasn't too large. But this machine is a niche unit, not a volume unit and was never intended that way. Cleaning is easy. spent pod capture is nice with the built in pod drawer and the unit is sleek with a modern looking profile that doesn't take up much space. Much smaller than my K unit. Cleaning is easy for both the machine and the frother. That being said, I deducted 1 star for the frother. Very happy with the coffee machine, how it operates and how easy it is to learn it's operations. The frother is a let down in my opinion. It really doesn't foam up the milk very well. Gets it a little bubbly and that's about it. I have a separate frother that looks like a small tea kettle and has a whisk built into the bottom. It heats and froths the milk/cream automatically. That thing could likely make butter it works so well and the milk comes close to whipped cream if you want it that fluffy. This Granlattissima is very lame in comparison. I'm not so concerned about how warm the milk gets but like the experience of a good, foamy milk for certain coffee types. If you want a really nice Cappuccino, Caffè Macchiato, Flat White or Caffè Mocha, you want foam, a good quantity of it and you want it fluffy. This machine basically makes the type of foam you'd have on a Caffè Latte, and no other choices. For the cost of the unit, that's disappointing and could really be improved. If I were designing an upgrade, I would offer 2 or 3 foam choices that really whip up the milk. I think they went for speed over quality on this option. Overall, I love the machine and with my separate frother, I couldn't ask for much more unless I had a commercial machine. I do recommend the unit regardless of the frother limitations. it's still a nice feature, just could have been better. 4 out of 5 stars.

I have had 2 previous machines (same model) but when I ordered this one, they had made some changes. The other ones were fantastic, which was why I reordered them. This one is terrible - does not heat the milk (lukewarm) does not make good foam, all in all a bust. So sad, because the previous model was fabulous. Whoever "improved: this did not.
