[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pull-out hood with a very low profile when installed. You can only see about 1" of the face, unlike most other hoods. I looked long and hard to find a hood like this. The suction of this hood is very good. Cleaning the filters is easy. They are removable and can be washed in the sink. There are three different levels of exhaust suction, even the lowest setting is suitable for most kitchen tasks. I like the brightness of the built-in lights. They have a warm color to them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We did a lot of research on the above the cooktop hood we purchased. Our last hood honestly was worthless and I hit head on it because it was so low. The Bosch hood only sticks out from the cabinet above by less than 5 inches. We like the slide out feature as well. It does a very good job exhausting the smells from cooking. I would highly recommend this unit.

1. Prefer LED lighting in todays modern world. 2. Need 2-3 light settings, not one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were trying to stay with the same footprint of the very old and outdated pull-out that was in our home when we purchased it. This Bosch hood was the only one that we could find with the dimensions and small pull-out profile We wanted a hood that kept flush to the cabinet space, rather than anything that protruded out. This one was perfect! The installers had to make some addtional cuts to fit the unit into the cabinet space above the hood. It all worked out perfect! It provides good lighting and venting when pulled out. You can set the strength of venting or turn it off, and you can also turn on/off the light.We love it!
