[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vent hood replced an old one from another brand. I can't be more happy with the style and performance of this hood. The suction is very strong and operates on low sone level. The lights are very bright and create a very pretty shape on the backsplash . The 4 filters cover the entire pull-out area covering the entire surface above the burners on the cooktop. The installation was effortless. It required just a minor adjustment on the cabinet cutout. The 6" duct was the perfect match with the old installation.

The light is great, it shine just in the right spots and is bright enough that other lights in the kitchen do no need to be on.

You simply pull it out for fan and light operation, then push it back flush with the cabinets when not in use. I love the clean lines and low profile, The stainless front has no branding and offers the new fingerprint-proof SS surface that is SO easy to keep clean. I'm really very happy with this Bosch Pull-Out Hood.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new Bosch pull-out vent hood. It is very sleek and modern. We used to have a huge ugly microwave above the range that was constantly in our face. This pull-out hood gives us plenty of head space above the range. We love that it slides out when in use, and slides back in line with the cabinet when not in use. Not super strong air flow, but good enough to get the job done. Easy installation too - my hubby did it on his own. The only cons for us: it shows fingerprints from pulling it in and out; wish it came in the black stainless steel as all our other Bosch applicances are black SS; in this day and age, the lights should have been LED instead of halogen.

We have had this style of ventilation hood in our last two homes, and loved them. They perform adequately, are out of the way when not in use, and we love the appearance. They are long-lasting as well. Since acquiring our ceramic cooktop from Bosch, we find our food does not generate as much steam as with our previous cooktop.
