There are three speeds to the fan and we use the highest the most. Will caution that my contractor was surprised the opening to duct out was higher than he anticipated; mentioning this for anyone doing a remodel to ensure their contractor understands this before closing up walls in case any framing needs to be adjusted. We are happy with our purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The vent hood looks great, works great (the two lights light up the cooktop surface perfectly) and was easy to install. Because of our back wall not going to the ceiling, the extending and the adjustable portion of the hood allows the vent to work well at the desired height. The attached photo (with flash) makes the hood a different shade but it is indeed a perfect stainless steel.
