We found this to be an interesting concept. Maybe a nice alternative to the standard cast iron that is somewhat difficult to keep seasoned without getting gross, but not wash too much, that fine line you walk with cast. Problem is, this is as hard to clean! There’s also a noticeable high spot in the middle where oil won’t stay so if you’re trying to cook 3-5 eggs, anything that touches the center gets over fried and sticks. I don’t get that at all. The price point had me thinking it was this perfect alternative to standard cast iron but I honestly prefer going back to the basic Lodge. Too hard to clean and what’s with the high spot in the middle??!

The exceptional quality is obvious as soon as you lift it out of the box. I've already made several cast iron pan favorites, and I'm extremely happy with this pan’s thickness and overall quality.

I thought the enameled skillet is quality made; however, I had to return it because of weight of the skillet.

I can’t use it! Sooooo heavy and I can’t imagine how much it would weigh with food!

It's not only beautiful but it makes the best sear on meats. I highly recommend this pan. .
