Nice pot heats evenly. Cover does not fit tight, wobbles, no seal when want to steam.

Like all of the all clad pots and pans, its beautifully made. The pasta strainer insert is exactly what you need for making pasta.

This is a beautifully crafted pot, but please keep in mind that only the pot is made in the USA. It is of excellent quality too. The insert however is not made in the USA and neither are the handles on the pot. Birch Lane describes it’s specifications as made in the USA, but as you can see on the box it is not. The insert is thinner and even has a defect. One of the holes is still filled in. My complaint is that it cost 300 dollars. You can also go onto All-Clad and read the specifications which state insert and handles are made in China. I just wish that Birch Lane would do a better job with listing accurate information so that customers are not mislead. I have been waiting for almost a week for them to rectify the situation. Still lists incorrect information.
