Mexico's Armando Ramirez enjoys the fine art of recycling as he transforms a variety of discarded metal as well as auto and bicycle parts into a sturdy forklift sculpture. Ramirez crafts the sculpture with steel sheets for the machine's main body and roof, while ball bearings and bicycle chains become the wheels. A car's field separator becomes the seat, and an assortment of nails and tubes become essential components of this spectacular sculpture. Ramírez prefers not to give his sculptures a fine polished finish, therefore smudges and scratches may be present.

The cart is very attractive but unfortunately arrived badly damaged from shipping. Fortunately, customer service was top notch and is replacing the top, or the full cart if they can’t replace just the top. Also, I had no idea the wheels are not really functional, as they do turn but they grate metal on metal and screech loudly if you actually try to roll the cart, so that was disappointing.. but it is an attractive piece once in place.. The Anacapa bar cart is one of our favorite pieces, blending metal and wood, with a removable tray on the top, industrial casters, and a contemporary x-pattern on the gallery surrounding the bottom shelf. The metal is finished in a burnished sauternes coloration.

This bar cart is very handsome and exceptionally well-made! Very solid weight and substantial, yet it rolls very easily. The removable upper tray is an added bonus. It may be expensive, but in my opinion, the quality of this item makes it worth the price. This item was very packaged and shipped better than any other furniture item I have ever ordered online.
