The tile is gorgeous! My one issue is that the sample I received did not have imperfections but then when I received the 75 square feet of tile there were 35% had an aging look perhaps that I don’t love. We tried to intermingle these ones so they are not as noticeable. Growing up, artist Helen Parker loved to paint. Her favorite childhood memory is painting with her mother. This led her on a path to the world of art. As a young adult, she went to art school and instantly knew she wanted to make this her life’s work. She received her fine arts training at Laguna College of Art and Design and is currently based in Los Angeles, CA. She is taking a break from her travels and learning to live in the city and find inspiration through her current surroundings. Her favorite medium is watercolor. “I love when the colors flow into each other and create new washes.” She draws much of her inspiration from nature.

Maeve Harris is an American abstract painter based in Seattle with a lifelong passion for oil painting. She studied printmaking and photography at Arizona State University and primarily focused on her work. Her contemporary style combines experimentation with traditional subjects like landscapes and florals, utilizing her pigments and various techniques to suggest subtle changes in light and time. Currently living in Seattle with her partner and children, she finds inspiration in seasonal light shifts, regional color palettes, and organic textures as she restores an old farmhouse and farmland.
