Following his interest in tradition and good food, Virgil Abloh designed Conversational Objects as "toolsets for the dining table". With its garage-inspired design, the Conversational Objects 16-piece cutlery set and cutlery holder are meant to encourage conversation and conviviality at the dining table. This set, produced in matt-finish stainless steel, is paired with a cutlery holder, with a similarly opaque finish to resemble a threaded bolt.

Lorenza Bozzoli was born in Milan. She studied art at Brera where she qualified in the 80'. After early work experience as a fashion designer of shoes and accessories in New York where she lived for 3 years, back in Milan, she set up her studio in the inspiring area of Brera. In 2001 she did her first project for Alessi a table set in PMMA for kids with infinite possibilities of visual effects. She now works for various internationally renowned companies such as Alessi, Dedon, Moooi, Dilmos, Colè, Tato, Spazio Pontaccio, and Tog. She participated in many exhibitions in Italy (Triennale MI) and abroad (Cooper Hewitt NY) and many others. Winner of EESC European Award for Excellent Sustainable Design 2013 with Fedro chair for Dedon. She also taught to integrate trends into creative strategy at the IED ( Istituto Europeo di Design) and still lives and works in Milano in Foro Buonaparte 54. Gabriele Chiave was born to diplomat parents in Metz in 1978, Gabriele Chiave knows no boundaries. He lived in many cities and countries. These diverse resident experiences enable him to bring a global perspective to design like no other. He spent significant time at Marc Sadler studio and working with prestigious Italian brands such as Alessi. Currently serving as creative director at Marcel Wanders, this art aficionado and jazz lover oversees all projects in product and interior design, and art direction for a range of premium brands - passionately leading all to participate in the expression of beauty and technical simplicity to expand the human experience.

Giro Kids is a set of cutlery consisting of a knife, fork, and spoon. Careful adaptation to the needs of very young children has made these the perfect tools for eating their first meals on their own. The fork has rounded tips and wide prongs, with a slightly cupped shape, similar to that of a spoon. The knife has a rounded tip and a blunt blade.

The double bar strainer, designed by Giulio Iacchetti, conceals a graceful and elegant design with professional aesthetic characteristics. With its double spring, it leaves complete freedom to the imagination of mixologists, who can choose the ideal level of filtration to best show off their preparations.

Traditionally a twig, but in the interpretation by Giulio Iacchetti this fundamental accessory of the mixologist is crystallized in stainless steel. An original reinterpretation of the “Bâton Lélé” bar stirrer which, enhanced by the technical knowledge of Oscar Quagliarini, gives rise to an innovative implement without betraying its natural origin.

“Pepa” Hors-D'oeuvre dish in 18/10 stainless steel, designed by the Catalan architect Lluís Clotet. The name of the Hors-D'hoeuvre dish is a homage to the characters from the novels of the poet Foix, who in turn lends his name to the pioneering tray from this collection.

The 9091 kettle has a melodic whistle made of brass in a shape that has never been seen before and consists of two small vents in which the tuners that reproduce the notes mi and si are inserted. Richard Sapper created this kettle inspired by a childhood remembrance, the poetic sound of boats' sirens at the River Rhine: This is because the melody that accompanies the vapor outlet must be pleasant and not anxious like the whistle of boilers. This induction kettle is a polysensory object that will not interrupt an enjoyable break with a whistle but with a captivating melody.

This is not only a napkin holder but a piece of art. It still look good when it's left emptied. I subtracted 1 star because we have to get an 8"x8" (not a common size) napkin in order for it to look good in the tray. The product and presented for the first time to the public at the "La Tavola apparecchiata" ("The set table") exhibition at the WW's exhibition space in Neustifgasse 32 in Vienna, this cutlery was produced by hand in silver and silver plate until 1910-12. The service, which was in dotazione anche al Cabaret Fledermaus, fully reflects the search for functionality combined with extreme formal elegance and refined working of materials that are so typical of the Wiener Werkstatt. And if some contemporaries had reservations on the practicality of some of the pieces (the transversal concavity of the tablespoon was a controversial point), these were quickly dispelled by those who actually used them. Made in 18/10 stainless steel, the cutlery was reissued by Alessi in 2000.
