Taupe Dresser

With a straightforward, clean design, and fine craftsmanship, the Butler Specialty Company Nora collection brings a elegant traditional form to your living space. With its gorgeous finish, this 6-drawer wide dresser offers plenty of storage while blending seamlessly into your space adding both function and subtle sophistication. A key feature is the soft-close under-mount drawer glides with smooth and quiet operation. These glides prevent drawers from slamming shut by gently guiding them to a soft, controlled close, enhancing both the longevity of the furniture and the user experience. The hidden, under-mount design maintains a sleek, seamless appearance, while the soft-close mechanism reduces noise and wear, making it ideal for quiet environments like bedrooms.

Our dresser arrived with slight damage - a top drawer that was out of alignment when closed - but the piece was good-looking otherwise and the finish seemed true to the online photos. It is not very deep (exterior as well as the drawers themselves), but I was aware of this from the dimentions and comments from other reviewers. The delivery team was excellent and customer service was very responsive to my concerns over the drawer, so I am hopeful this will resolve well.. Anne. Tulsa, OK. Mon Sep 28 2026

Few places on Earth rival the natural beauty of the Monterey Peninsula in California, where mountains meet the sea. The area has drawn celebrated painters and writers since the 19th century. Today, the small town of Carmel, with its relaxed yet sophisticated lifestyle, has retained its passion for the arts. Barclay Butera draws inspiration from the progression of home design on the coast. The look has evolved from Spanish Mission to Relaxed Modern while maintaining a classic sensibility. The term 'relaxed modern' sounds like a design contradiction, but to Barclay, it suggests a refreshing new direction. Classic lines blend with natural materials and plush textiles to soften the normal edge of modernism for an understated and inviting look. The Carmel collection features a crisp winter-white finish on white oak with rich camel undertones that accentuate grain lines. The look is extremely sophisticated, the vibe is remarkably casual, and the lifestyle conveys the essence of luxury living.

A luminous contrast of natural wood and silver leaf gives the Westwood Single Dresser an elevated presence while preserving the calm simplicity at the heart of the collection. Quartered oak veneers in a Polished Limestone finish bring softness and natural warmth to the top and sides, while Venetian Dawn silver leaf décor across the drawer fronts introduces subtle movement and light. A clean plinth base grounds the silhouette, and hardware knobs in a plated Radiance finish add a polished finishing touch. Eight drawers provide generous storage within the streamlined design, each featuring a soft closing mechanism for smooth, quiet operation. The top six drawers are finished with oak veneer bottoms for a refined interior detail, while the two bottom drawers are lined in cedar to thoughtfully accommodate clothing, linens, and other personal items. Designed to make bedroom organization feel beautifully effortless, the Westwood Single Dresser balances substantial storage with an understated sense of luxury.

Serene with simplicity, the elixir six-drawer dresser has crisp, clean lines. Character is achieved through textural interest with the gray-beige finish applied to lightly sand-blasted walnut veneer for an organic look. For added texture, the knobs are faux shagreen. The bottom drawers are cedar-lined, and there is a red drop-in felt liner in the top drawers. Elixir is a casual contemporary collection that, as its name implies, exudes a feeling of comfort, simplicity, and well-being. While Elixir has crisp, clean lines, character and visual interest are also achieved through the use of texture. Textural interest comes from the use of lightly sand-blasted walnut veneer, the light texture applied to the metal elements with a hand-carved texture added to the surface of select pieces such as the oval mirror and the round dining table. The buffet offers a beautiful carved starburst pattern on the doors.

Delivery was fast. The color is exactly as pictured, and I appreciate that the materials matched the price. The construction of the piece is solid. The delivery guys were great. We elected to move it into place ourselves, so I can confirm it is heavy (which is often the case with fully assembled pieces). Installing the hardware was a bit tedious, but not aggravatingly so.
