Absolutely LOVE this area rug! The picture is true to life, and it feels great underfoot, too. Not shag or even high pile, but it feels good with a good pad under it. Nice quality rug, color is exactly as pictured. The rug does shed, not terribly though. Because the rug is not 100% wool, a bit of the fibers get removed with vacuuming. This is a very pretty ice blue - lighter than depicted on the web site. It is soft and a very low pile. So much so, I bought a thick pad to put under it. The greatest drawback is that furniture puts a very obvious indentation in the rug and it does not bounce back when the furniture is moved. I mean it does not bounce back at all. The rug is a great addition to my home, though it’s slightly smaller than other 5x8 rugs from the same manufacturer. Unfortunately, mine arrived with some damage, but I’ll be reaching out to Perigold for assistance. Overall, it’s a high-quality product as long as the measurements meet your needs. The light grey color is elegant and blends well with most decor styles. The backing is a bit firm underfoot, but the surface grid feels smooth and comfortable. This rug is perfect for living rooms or home offices, adding a touch of style and comfort. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for high-traffic areas, as it may not hold up as well.. Rental.
