This stool is cut from a responsibly harvested chamcha tree trunk. Chamcha is an acacia species native to Thailand. We love the visible wood grains, even after we treat them to create this stone-like patina. The freeform line of the trunk remains intact, preserving the natural integrity of this piece. This is what modern organic looks like.

Expensive, but what an amazing natural product! Great polished finish. Better than we expected! They were well wrapped, but the crates were not as strong as they should be for the weight of the product.
