My order was placed on my desktop computer (Mac) and the pillow description indicated the cover material is cotton and the size is 20 inches square; however, the pillow I received was silk and 16 inches square. My plan was to place the pillow in a chair, and the 16-inch size looked appropriate and the silk looked nice, so I kept the pillow. Ardmore designers have given us two signature limited edition sofas with the launch of our Sabie fabric collection 2020, which come 30 in Tanzanite and 30 in Delta, both in rich and sensual velvet. The high backs allow for two to sit amongst dancing elephants juggling a vervet monkey, flanked by travelers riding a giraffe and ostrich. Our feet and behinds cool off in the Sabie river waters where hippos and crocs play amongst water lilies and a python coils in the right-hand corner under one’s arm. In the shadows of the plants, at the back of the sofa, emerges the elusive King cheetah with his rare spots and stripes. The sofa's border base and arms are framed with Zulu beaded striped - liked pattern, so often seen in the bases of Ardmore Ceramic works. These sofas transport us into a magical animal and botanical fantasy and we consider them to be appreciated as Artwork.

As the sun sets and the heat abates, bush babies, genet cats, and owls celebrate nightlife amid delicately patterned exotic and sensual smelling moonlit flowers.

Thanda Tortoise is an interpretation of the leopard tortoises' shell and their instinct to retract into their safe home, shielded from outside harm.

The powerfully symbolic Thanda tortoise fabric is inspired by the leopard tortoise’s beautifully patterned shell. The allusion to tortoises helps capture the feeling of slow and tentative steps taken to leave our protective "cocoons" and carefully reintegrate ourselves back into the world.
