I ordered the faucet, filter faucet, air gap, and soap dispenser in Antique Gold. I waited until the final piece arrived before writing this review because I wanted to see the full set together. Unfortunately, I am disappointed with the finish. The online photos made Antique Gold look much darker, richer, and warmer. In real life, especially in daylight, the finish is much lighter and reads closer to a pale satin brass or warm satin nickel than the deeper antique gold shown online. I tried to verify the finish before ordering, including calling the store, but I could not find the identical items locally to see in person. For such expensive pieces, the finish representation should be much more accurate. The photos are deceiving and do not properly show how light this color looks in normal lighting. I hope the products function well, but from a design standpoint, I am disappointed. Have had this faucet for over a year now. I absolutely love the design and clean lines of this model. I was set on doing polished nickel for our faucet and it's so disappointing that a lot of more modern styles aren't offered in the finish. We paired ours with brass lighting & cabinet hardware and it's absolutely beautiful and a pairing I will do over and over again. The only surprise to me with the faucet is that the handle works backwards. You push the lever in, towards the faucet neck, to turn water on. Looks nice, BUT, in the installation kit, there is a requirement to cut the SS Inlet tube and sand it down with sandpaper. This requires a tool to cut steel. This is not listed anywhere in the instructions, leaving my plumber dumbfounded. Once we reached trouble shooting on the phone (after a long wait), we were sent pictures of the necessary cutting. This seems like something that should be handled on your end--why wouldn't you cut this piece before including in the set and why don't you include any explanation of this in the directions? Also, you included the wrong water hoses, so we needed to go to the hardware store and purchase new hoses. All of this required extra labor, two visits, thus increasing overall expense.. Well…..it better keep its finish. I just spent $2,500. with plumber’s bill included to replace my old faucet that lost its finish after 3 years. I live in my home alone with guest occasionally visiting. No harsh cleaning products ever on it. Not thrilled with your product. The finish got so ugly! Of course, you called it a “living finish” when I tried to return it. . I had to order the same faucet as my marble was drilled for a 3 legged faucet. This was a beautiful faucet but I was disappointed that it was made in China. So my rating goes down one star because I thought Rohl presented where they manufacture items as in Canada, New Zealand, Italy, and other European countries with no mention of China! I was totally disappointed and felt like I had been misled. This has meant that I cannot trust the company descriptions but have to ALWAYS ask where items at Perigold are manufactured. Beautiful faucet that upgrades the look of our kitchen. In the first few weeks it works perfectly. Only issue is the handle stem loosens easily with normal use. The faucet is beautiful Having it installed today. HOWEVER, i needed a sink hole cover to match the italian brass(a small round disc that covers the extra holes in the sink). I called Wayfair/perigold and they could not get me the piece. I wanted it to match the gold color of the faucet. I finally called ROHL, they can't sell it to me but told me wayfair should be able to put it on a purchase order SHC-1IB. Oh NO, NO WAY. They were unable to help me at all, nor could they direct me to any place that might be able to get this piece. By sheer luck I found a retail store STUDIO 41. They had one in STOCK and sent it the next day. How can you sell a $1800 faucet and provide no customer service. Bad wayfair. Yeah! studio 41.
