Purchased this on a whim to use up some Wayfair reward credits, and because I'm a big fan of my other Kartell purchases. Otherwise would never have sprung for a vase at this price. My sober Quaker ancestors would cringe! But so glad I did. How is it possible to make a plastic vase that is so beautiful? No way it looks like plastic. So pretty I'm hesitant to use it. "Piuma" is one of the most revolutionary and daring products in the evolution of technologies and materials used by Kartell. This is the first time that a material containing carbon fiber has been injection molded. The seat has a minimum thickness of a few millimeters (2 mm at most) resulting in an ultralight chair. Piuma is very light and very thin, but also incredibly strong, flexible, and suitable for outdoor use.

Item is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The goal of the Delta chair was to create a timeless product that constantly seeks to strike a balance between realism and surrealist matter and antimatter, abstraction, and emotion. The Seat Belt side chair is one of many offerings in this contemporary seating collection by award-winning Thai designer Nuttapong Charoenkitivarakorn.
