Starfall is a classically proportioned five-pointed double star. Gathered at a high waist of the lamp, five slender, tapered arms extend up as if reaching for the sky while five tapered legs splay downward, appearing to float just above a tabletop or floor. Slight and delicately crafted from metal, this lamp appears weightless and defies its media of steel sheeting. Finally, a gilded iron finish or a bronze finish is applied. Each lamp is fitted with a drum shade and a matching starburst finial.

To call this a "novelty" floor lamp does not do it justice. This is a top quality lamp in every respect. It is heavy, well made, and it looks awesome. Even the packaging it came in was top-notch. Showcasing angular composition and balance, it has a mid-century feel with an updated take on the style via its cast aluminum. It is topped with an off-white linen shade with off-white cotton lining, and features a clear silver cord and three-way rotary switch. The finish will vary.

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. -For $500 I would expect the sections of this lamp to fit properly and be the same shade of bronze (see photos). I tried unscrewing and reattaching several times but this is how it lines up. Will anyone but me notice--probably not. That doesn't mean it's okay. We love the lamp, but there is some damage. The pole of the lamp was delivered the day before the shade. The pole had a few defects, not bad the wrapping in some places had two places where the wrap of wicker is torn a a litlle, I can live with that. Cosequently the shade arrived th following day. The wicker on the shade has many broken strips and does appear when you look up, this is unacceptable. Please send a new shade.
