The size is perfect for babies who need that comfort companion without the safety concerns of a full blanket. It’s manageable enough for little hands to grab and hold onto tutoring sleep which is exactly what you want from a love. My only note is the fabric isn’t as plush or buttery soft as I was expecting for a knit Lovy. It has more of a structured texture than a melt into it feel. That said my toddler is completely unbothered. He loves it and has claimed as as his so the baby jury has spoken. The color is more of a cream colored than oatmeal but it’s still neutral enough. I’ve washed this several times and no rips whatsoever I do a gentle cold wash and very light tumble dry it does take a while though. The blanket is not heavy but not thin either perfect for my 12 month old especially when the AC is on. The blanket is big enough for me and my baby to cuddle after he wakes up from his naps..
