Artist Fern Cassidy was born in Oakland, CA, but grew up in Colorado. She enjoys traveling, being outdoors, food, and painting. Fern studied drawing and painting at CSU Long Beach where she trained under influential professors, but most of her experience comes from her personal practice.

Currently, she resides in Northern California with her husband and two daughters. Every other month, Beverly travels back down to her hometown of Los Angeles to immerse herself in the artistic community and to find her next muse.
