The Pomegranate collection takes its inspiration from one of the most universal and ancient symbols in the world. The fruit has been prized across the globe, across cultures, and across time as a representation of life, rebirth, and renewal, as well as fertility and union. "I grew up around pomegranates—from their use as natural dyes on the antique rugs I used to crawl on as a baby to an integral ingredient in the food that I love. When I'm at my home in New Delhi, I wake each morning to the taste of freshly squeezed juice. The color, the smell, and the delicate flavor all make it feel like a magical elixir to me."

The Anemone collection is inspired by anemone flowers, which in some cultures are said to bring good luck and offer protection. The flowers are associated with purity and peace. "For me, there is a beauty and gracefulness inherent in anemones. The curving stems and vibrant blooms are feminine and deeply alluring".

Packaged very well. Beautiful. Be careful with the ornamental leaf at the base. It was resting on the counter top and slightly scrubbed counter when moved, but will not bend to raise so it won't scrub. Luckily, I did not force. I am sure it would have broken.. Cynthia. The Orchid collection illuminates the ethereal spirit of the orchid flower. Evocative of purity, delicacy, femininity, and grace, the white metal version offers a strikingly different appeal than its black counterpart. While the sculpture is just as exuberant and detailed, in white, these flowers take on a unique simplicity. There is a sense of lightness, freshness, and even innocence - each petal seemingly untouched and pure.

The Michael Aram New Leaves collection is a celebration of the beauty and meaning found in individual leaves. Inspired by specific types of foliage that have taken on sentimental meaning in Michael's life, this collection embodies his genuine passion for nature in its purest and most personal form. Each leaf has its own story, its symbolism, and its inherent wonder, detail, and shape. For the first time, Michael is also interpreting an entire collection of leaves in the proportions in which they occur in nature, amplifying the sense of realism for which he is so well known. While each leaf is expressed as a sculptural object, Michael has yet again managed to infuse function into his forms, making them perfect for the most elemental moments in our daily lives.

By interpreting plant forms in cast metal, Aram presents work that is evocative of a natural environment transformed and redefined. Love Michael Aram and this napkin holder does not disappoint. It’s well made, study, holds a good amount of napkins and looks great on the kitchen counter or table. The Calla Lily collection is inspired by the beauty of the Calla lily flower. The architectural, curving shape of the flower is strong, yet suggests an intense sensuality. The flower is associated with weddings as is symbolic of purity and innocence. "I was thinking of the romance of weddings and how bouquets often use flowers that carry symbolism. I remembered a picture of a woman I had seen holding her bouquet of calla lilies. She was classic, timeless, and modern all at once. There is something so alluring about the billowy flowers and arching stems which feel contemporary, yet still utterly romantic."
