These are really beautiful in person. The Bubbled vase is made in an art glass factory located in the Southeastern point of Poland. The artisans first form the amber glass in a mold. Using a round tool, the interior bubbles in the abstract shape are pushed out of the wall of the vase creating a blush color tone. Lastly, the glass is annealed for over 24hrs to cool. Each piece is unique, so shape and color may vary.

Crackle and thunder – a magical wonder! At Kosta Boda, we marvel at beautifully preserved cracks in glass. The vase in circular glass from the Crackle collection has an expressive, sculptural exterior created using an old handicraft technique where the hot glass is dipped in ice-cold water. The circular glass that Crackle Circular is made of, makes the products shift in color, and the small bubbles created during the process of making circular glass into a new product, make each vase unique. Design by Asa Jungnelius.

Charming, golden-flecked white glass displays a bird at a serene moment. Glass is a centuries-old technique created from the Murano region of Italy, of adding gold particles to hot, molten glass. The process here, preserved in art glass, as an ideal bird at rest, perfect for mantle or table top.
