Overall a good quality stove, has a major issue with center burner. The burner has been replaced a minimum of 5 times. The 6th burner is in the process of failure. Also a minor annoyance is the knobs slide easy on the shaft. The oven and the other 4 burns are fine, if not for the center burner issue the stove would be rated a 5 star. Rah10. Erie , PA. The Wi-Fi capability of these two devices allowed us to tie the microwave lighting and exhaust to the function of the induction range burners. We’ve had a less than average stove for quite some time. It was getting the job done but we didn’t really know what we were missing. This thing is amazing! Most of the time we can even turn the burners to high because the heat is so abundant. I used to say my wife couldn’t boil water when it came to her culinary capabilities. Purchased 2 months ago. Weather just got really warm 2 weeks ago so used only a small amount. The unit is on a first floor of 1000 sq. ft. with a secondary fan to circulate. All opinions expressed in this post are personal and should not be attributed to LG. First and foremost, using it as a pedestal elevates the main washer/dryer combo to the perfect working height. Not having to constantly bend down to load and unload heavy laundry is an immediate, noticeable relief on the back. Beyond ergonomics, being able to run both the SideKick and the main combo unit simultaneously cuts laundry time significantly. Controlling both machines directly from the main combo’s central display makes the entire system feel seamlessly integrated. I was initially worried about whether standard household plumbing could handle both units running and draining at the same time, but water pressure and drainage have been completely smooth with zero issues. Since the SideKick is wash-only, having the combo drum right above it makes workflow easy—just lift the freshly washed items out and toss them into the top unit to dry. A couple of practical quirks to keep in mind: Manual Detergent: Unlike the main combo unit with its automatic dispenser reservoir, you need to manually measure and add detergent for each load.
