Everything becomes gold: Midas. The playful, baroque Rosenthal shape Sanssouci forms the stage for the Midas decor, which is monochromatic in gold. Patterns with distinctive twigs and leaves are laid on top of each other in layers, shimmering between matt and glossy surfaces and creating an extremely sensual interplay when they meet the porcelain relief. The three-dimensional camouflage décor is named after the mythological king Midas, whom Dionysus had fulfilled a wish: Everything he touched turned to gold.

Arris Wedgwood Bone China Teacup and Saucer revel in contemporary style with clean lines, experimental shapes, and a bold juxtaposition of color and tone. Stylish Arris crystal barware celebrates the purity of shape and clean, graceful lines fused with warm, luxurious accents of opaque copper.

Michael Aram presents the Butterfly Ginkgo Handmade Porcelain Coffee Mug, a lyrical tribute to the metamorphosis of flora into fauna. Inspired by the Ginkgo Biloba tree, this handmade 10oz vessel captures the magical image of leaves that evoke butterflies about to take flight. Each porcelain china piece, rendered in a sophisticated white, gray, and gold palette, honors the storytelling traditions of the handmade process. A tour de force of craft, this service for one transforms your morning ritual into a storied experience. While sculptural and narrative, it remains functional—both microwave and dishwasher safe—blending nature-inspired artistry with the effortless luxury of the modern home.

First launched in 1874, Wedgwood's renowned Florentine pattern reached peak popularity with the 1931 Florentine Turquoise collection. After 150 years, this iconic fine bone china collection has been revitalized. This teacup and saucer, expertly crafted in fine bone china, not only represent exceptional craftsmanship but also celebrate a world of myths, legends, and fantasy.

Sailors Farewell is the second collaboration between Wedgwood and renowned, award-winning interior designer Kit Kemp, whose style is about whimsical storytelling, color, and imagination. The collection is derived from a fabric she designed for Chelsea Textiles, inspired by a beautiful drawing by John Craxton depicting a sailor’s wife waving farewell. Blending Kit’s love of craft and simple, lyrical folk art, the sailor’s loved one is waving goodbye on a rock with her scarf flying in the wind. As she waves, the witty motifs around each china piece show the sailor’s adventures on the high seas, both above and below the waterline. The rust-red sails of his sailing ship pass by whales and merfolk fishing. There are two little dogs alone on the high seas, seagulls flying above the lighthouse, and the enticing sight of a house under a palm tree on a faraway desert island. Below in the depths is a frogman, a curious octopus, and the flashing fins of many fish. The delicate pale blue linen finish of the original fabric design is discernible on the tableware with a stronger blue and 22-karat gold hand-applied lining around the rim. The Sailors Farewell teacup features the sailor's ship with its rust-red sails and a curious octopus below in the depths. Beautifully presented in Wedgwood’s signature blue gift box, each piece is made in England, crafted in fine bone china, and finished with 22 karat gold.

Rosenthal
Inspired by the opera of the same name by Giacomo Puccini, the Heritage Turandot decor is an homage to the 18th-century chinoiseries, which already played an important role in the Rosenthal designs of the late 19th century. A lavish farandole of peony blossoms, bamboo, and ginkgo leaves in delicate colors meets golden dragonflies. The background for the poetic porcelain paintings is a white or dark blue background framed by a narrow gold rim. Gianni Cinti tells us that he had the idea for the complex decoration when he remembered a visit to the shore of West Lake in Hangzhou, China. The interweaving of Western and Eastern elements is emphasized by the extension of the collection to include elements of classical Chinese food culture such as rice and soup bowls, porcelain spoons, chopstick holders, and tea caddies.

With an oriental feel, this original design by Kit Kemp is based on a collection of embroidered fabrics produced by Chelsea Textiles. Kit Kemp is best known as the co-owner and design director for Firmdale Hotels, famous for her eclectic and colorful designs. The kit is often influenced by a sense of the whimsical and the lyrical, as well as her love of animals. This collection features creatures great and small, borne solely from her imagination. The illustrative style of the range is applied to the silky white fine bone china and decorated with intricate gold decorations around the rim of each of the durable pieces.

Woven patterns are the eye-catchers of the new Rosenthal Kumi line. Inspired by artisanal handcrafting—such as producing baskets, leather handbags, and furniture—Kumi focuses on the delicate look of hand-woven fabrics. The line, consisting of bread and butter plates, breakfast plates, dinner plates, soup plates, cereal bowls, and mugs, is made of silicate porcelain—a material that is resistant to breakage and impact and is also slightly transparent. The very flat rim and the outside of the bowls remain unglazed, accentuating the lively and delicate woven structure.

A beautiful example of Scandinavian design, these white porcelain Thermo mugs combine both form and function whilst retaining a cool and contemporary aesthetic. The fine grooves on the surface reference early Art Deco style and give a minimalist decoration but at the same time allow the user to grip the mug safely. Meanwhile, the double layer of the mug keeps the contents warm whilst not burning your hand. Swedish royal prince Sigvard Bernadotte was perhaps Georg Jensen’s very first design star. His work displays an appreciation of craftsmanship combined with modern innovation and he was credited with starting the house’s transition from Art Nouveau into a more functionalist, Scandinavian sensibility. His timeless pieces have become the inspiration for the Bernadotte collection of tableware.

The graceful decoration of the collection emphasizes the delicate form and craftsmanship of each piece. Minimalist, simple, or even normal – these are probably the words that first spring to mind when design enthusiasts hear the name Jasper Morrison. And this is meant as a compliment. "Design isn’t a demonstration of the unusual. Only one thing matters: It must work", stated Morrison, summarising his notion of design. Moon implements this idea in a congenial manner. This clear and uncomplicated use of shape works on any dinner table, making the Moon dinner service extremely versatile.

Maria gets a new look. For the first time in its more than 100-year history, Rosenthal's successful collection is now available in a contemporary version called "Maria en Vogue" with colored glazes. The delicate pastel colors emphasize the romantic vintage touch of the shape. The triumph of the "Maria" shape began in 1916. The service was named after the wife of the company founder Philipp Rosenthal, who married 35-year-younger Maria in 1916. "Maria" stands for porcelain history and table culture. Presumably created as a replica of a silver tea service, this polygonal dinnerware shape with the characteristic edge relief in the form of a fruit garland became the most extensive Rosenthal service. In 1939, there were already more than 170 different items, from bone dishes to knife banks and decorative corks. Even today, more than 70 different individual pieces are available. Some love stories are so beautiful that they are hard to believe. Like the one between Philipp Rosenthal and his wife Maria. It so happens that the privy councilor was so infatuated with her that he quickly named a porcelain set after her – without knowing that it would one day become a best-seller, selling millions of copies. To this day Maria remains one of the most extensive tableware collections with around 100 pieces. Its classic form and the elegant fruit relief around the rim make it a stand-out collection. "Maria" is a classic service that has already become a legend. For generations, it was the porcelain of choice at weddings and other celebrations. The model for its characteristic shape was a silver teapot dating back to around 1815, which company founder Philipp Rosenthal brought back from England and had remade in porcelain in honor of his wife, the French Countess Maria de Bourges. Timelessly beautiful and gracious - the Rosenthal classic Maria from 1916 is still a dazzling style icon in 2023. Dream Blue draws on influences from fashion and the elegant interiors of the past and highlights the famous relief of pomegranates and olive branches for a stylish mix of colors.
