Our tables take inspiration from tables. Frames are made from solid, distressed teak wood that showcases natural characteristics such as knots, checking, and other irregularities, adding to each piece’s vintage style. Tabletops are fashioned from beautiful extra-wide planks of teak. Trestle-style bases have scrolled motifs and wedged mortise-and-tenon joinery. Tables are hand-finished in antiqued white. If exposed to the elements, the finish will wear away but can be easily touched up or repainted.

The Essex round dining table is handcrafted from solid teak with meticulous care, using precise mortise and tenon joinery. Slats on tabletops have beveled edges to allow rainwater to more easily drain from the surface.

It's really nicely made and put together with wood fittings. It came expertly packed to protect from damage unlike other teak items I ordered from another company. One of Kingsley Bate's larger tables, the oval Essex comfortably seats 10 to 12 people in the expanded position and 6 to 8 in the closed position. This table has 2 rotating and self-storing leaves that transform the large table into a smaller version. The table accommodates the largest of Kingsley Bate's umbrellas. It is not necessary to remove the umbrella when changing the table size, shown here with Kingsley Bate's Gearhart folding chairs.

The chairs are beautiful! Love the different shades of gray. My table is 70” round and I purchased 8 chairs, which will be perfect for our space.
