Super cute and functional side table. We're using it in our office. The white is a slightly off-white and the finish is matte - which are not really clear in the pictures. The compartments are great for storage and the doors slide easily, although are prone to being a bit loud when you close them as its plastic on plastic. Purchased this on a whim to use up some Wayfair reward credits, and because I'm a big fan of my other Kartell purchases. Otherwise would never have sprung for a vase at this price. My sober Quaker ancestors would cringe! But so glad I did. How is it possible to make a plastic vase that is so beautiful? No way it looks like plastic. So pretty I'm hesitant to use it. FL/Y is an essentially-styled suspension lamp. The particular transparency of the material and the sheen of the colors recreate the idea of a soap bubble, shimmering iridescently in the light. The shade is not perfectly hemispherical, with the cut-off falling just below the level of the diameter, offering a greater concentration of light.
