This is the dramatic view from the ancient amphitheatre floor, where a triumphant gladiator looks up at the blood-thirsty Vestal virgins and the Roman emperor, who will determine the fallen warrior's fate - a decided "thumbs down." Frenchman Gerome captures a Neo-classical sense of energy in the colosseum, it reflects his status as a master of academic realism. The authentic stretched canvas replica painting captures the original work's texture, depth of color, and even its subtle brushstrokes, which are applied by hand. This replica European style, bright gold-toned, ribbed frame is cast in quality designer resin with an acanthus leaf and floret border that draws the eye toward the beautiful image. Proudly printed and framed in the USA using imported molding.

Artist Jean Kenna was born in Seoul, Korea. She studied illustration at the art center college of design where she developed her fundamental drawing and painting skills, as well as getting basic knowledge of technical programs. For Jean, art means lots of things. She thinks art is her language and a privilege given to her to express. It is also the way that she can communicate with the world in her own unique and personal way. Jean finds her inspiration in small things that make her excited. For example, movies, a lazy day on a beach, and the silence of a rainy day. Although she mostly works on digital media, Jean loves to draw with a pen and markers. She especially likes to draw cityscapes that involve perspective and stories of city life. During the weekends, Jean often goes outside into the city, studies people and buildings around her, and brings them to life in her sketchbook. Jean believes the purpose of an artist’s work is in bringing excitement and happiness into people’s minds. ‘I love to create art that makes your heart warm’.

I fell in love with this print. Unfortunately, when the print arrived, it was very different. Most of the piece is black and lacks all the contrasting colors. There are a few small areas that have a small amount of other colors, but very little. I have called Perigold and I am waiting to see what can be done. Tempting touch. The perfect mix of the decadence and madness of Dali. Crafty, couture, and exotic, this is the wall art that reminds your guests they're in the presence of an eccentric glamourpuss. We collaborated with an artisanal workshop in India where a master beader imbued our clean graphic designs with craftsmanship and soul. Each artwork is hand-beaded on a linen ground and takes nearly 100 hours to create. Beads of varying heights and patterns within patterns create a sense of depth and dimension. The result is part pop art, part textile triumph.
