It is a beautiful solid piece of furniture. It will last a long time. I paid to have it assembled, and one person did the job. It takes about 12 weeks to get delivered. I waited until it went on sale during Way Day and then signed up to receive marketing emails from Wayfair to get an additional 10 percent off. I was able to purchase it for a little more than $8,300. This bed is built so beautifully! It’s definitely not a bed you’re building from scratch. Essentially it’s attaching the sideboards to the head and footboard along with screwing the wooden slats onto the center supporting platform and the sideboards. I wish there were screws on both sides of every wooden slat (some are only screwed into the middle platform) but aside from that this is a very sturdy bed for a reasonable price.
