We bought this in August of '21 and love it. It's a sleek design and the fan works great. If I would change anything, I would have four lights instead of two to distribute the light better. This is an awesome Z-Line hood unit especially at the Wayfair purchase price. The first one I received had a metal rubbing of a fan blade, reached out to Z-line, sent a video explaining the situation. I was advised a new replacement was already on its way, in a blink of an eye. NO fuss at all. Not having an actual island in my kitchen, I installed it above my Bertazonni stove, away from the wall. The placement made the corner look bigger, very airy, and receive many compliments. I have seen many island hoods but this one actually has the controls on both sides of the unit, making it unique. The 4 lights pivot, allowing light to be were most needed. The motor is very powerful, and does the job it's intended to do. I ordered the matching crown molding for a finished professional look. They had a similar model for same price but that one had 2 lights and the buttons below the glass. This has 4 lights which provides just the right amount of bright light and has the buttons above the glass to keep clean. Fan action works fine, not quit but not loud in my opinion. All in all we like the hood, but for the price there were some issue. For one, two sides of the column had a smoother brushed finish than the other two. Also, some small specs of rust have appeared on the finish. If I had to guess I would say some iron particles were left behind by the brushing process. The 42" Fabriano 600 CFM Convertible Island Range Hood in Stainless Steel is a beautiful combination of glass and stainless steel in a modern design. The hand-blown curved glass allows plenty of natural light to filter down to the cooking surface.

We absolutely love our new island range hood. The black stainless steel with the curved tinted glass compliments our newly remodeled kitchen perfectly. It has 5 different exhaust settings, but honestly, the second lowest setting is the highest setting we've needed to use. And it is a relatively quiet setting. It works exactly as it should. It starts getting a little loud at the fourth setting. My one complaint would be the lights. They started out as being fairly bright but quickly faded to a very, very dim light...and we haven't mistakenly left the lights on or anything. Once we replace them with brand new light bulbs, hopefully they will remain bright for a longer period of time than these did. Installation was definitely a challenge; we had a few obstacles to overcome, but nothing we couldn't adapt to. And with the install complete, we could consider our kitchen remodel complete and we have been enjoying using the range hood immensely.. Lori. US. Sat May 30 2026
