Mexico's Armando Ramirez enjoys the fine art of recycling as he transforms a variety of discarded metal as well as auto and bicycle parts into a sturdy forklift sculpture. Ramirez crafts the sculpture with steel sheets for the machine's main body and roof, while ball bearings and bicycle chains become the wheels. A car's field separator becomes the seat, and an assortment of nails and tubes become essential components of this spectacular sculpture. Ramírez prefers not to give his sculptures a fine polished finish, therefore smudges and scratches may be present.
Love it! Perfect for our construction office. Very clever how it is made from metal pieces such as washers, brackets, chains, etc. Very realistic looking.. Carol. Monrovia, MD. Mon Oct 23 2023
