If the floor is not even, there are hidden balancing lifts in the base…I wouldn’t have know they were there but fortunately the Perigold delivery guys did a great job unpacking, placing and balancing the table.. The dining room table is constructed of beautiful wood and is well made. The wood grain is enhanced by the careful staining. It is a stunning piece and the two additional leaves make it a very long 120” - enough to accommodate 10-12 people. Great design has a way of making a home feel more effortless, adapting beautifully as rooms shift from quiet everyday moments to gatherings with family and friends. The Driftwood Flip Top Console Table embodies that idea with a narrow rectangular silhouette that measures just 16 inches deep when closed. Its top flips open to double the depth to 32 inches, transforming an elegant console into a generous surface for dining, entertaining, or wherever a little more room is needed. A double pedestal base connected by a stretcher lends the adaptable design a substantial architectural presence. Three thoughtfully developed finishes give the table a distinct expression. Buckboard, a light brown finish, captures the quiet warmth of sun faded oak and lends the piece a relaxed elegance. Worn Saddle, a warm brown finish, recalls the burnished beauty of supple leather and hand tooled heirlooms, bringing warmth and a sense of history. Burnt Timber, a nuanced black brown finish, introduces a darker, moodier character inspired by wood softened through years of time and touch. Natural knots, worm holes, and a dry distressed surface enrich each finish with character and individuality. Graceful enough to welcome guests in an entryway and versatile enough to become an intimate dining space, the Driftwood Flip Top Console Table is designed around the changing rhythms of modern living. It is the kind of thoughtful piece that earns its place in the home not only through beauty, but through the many ways it becomes part of everyday life.

This table is GORGEOUS. I have included photos of my table extended with one leaf. I am able to slide 4 side chairs under the table on each side which allows you to see a lot of the table top and corner legs. The small detail above each table leg where it meets the table top is a nice modern detail, and the grainy-like wood pattern on the table top creates some character. I looked at over 1000 dining room tables and am glad I purchased this one. The gold trim at the bottom of each leg is attractive, and although I don't like decorating with gold, the gold color is subtle enough that it doesn't detract from the room. The table arrived in excellent condition. Place the table top upside down to attach the 4 legs - this is an easy job of one person. Two people will need to lift the table to upright it. Enjoy this gorgeous dining room table!. Dana. Burke, VA. Wed Apr 15 2020
