Artist Giselle Kelly was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She studied fine art with an emphasis on engraving at university and was inspired by Oriental art. While studying, she used many traditional instruments like ink sticks, bamboo brushes, and handmade paper. Art to Giselle means every moment and focusing on one's feelings. Her inspiration comes from her life experiences; she is interested in photography, especially landscapes, and is deeply moved by nature, travel, people, and music. She enjoys working with a variety of mediums such as acrylic, watercolor, and ink.
