We love the white oak fireplace! We don’t use it as a TV stand. I have to be honest though that the reviews that said how easy it was to put together, were not what we experienced. The directions seemed to be very thorough until we ran into discrepancies with the directions. Very frustrating. We ended up hiring someone to help with it. We ended up brushing the surface to highlight the grain and further emphasize the feeling of motion. Originally used for our popular Teak Graphic sideboard, the pattern now translates perfectly to a TV cupboard.
