Fruit Floral Wall Paper William Morris

A beautiful and dynamic Morris design featuring perching and swooping birds against a network of foliage and an abundance of ripe pomegranates – some whole, some bursting open, and others getting pecked at by diving birds. The inspiration for this piece was William Morris’s much earlier pattern, ‘Fruit’, which similarly depicts luscious pomegranates amongst branches, leaves, and blooming pomegranate flowers. With nature as the focus, this vibrant and whimsical design is a fine exemplar of Morris’s characteristic style. Bird and Pomegranate Deep Green is a beautiful, statement design with its vivid richness in color. Displaying pops of muted terracotta, rosy pink, and cream against a multi-tonal sea of green. This matte-finish wallpaper would be an eye catching asset to any room.

This wallpaper was exactly as pictured and we love it! The texture is soft and feels high quality.. Amanda. Mesa, AZ. Fri Nov 15 2024

This wallpaper is finished with a matte finish, adding a contemporary feel to this classic design by Morris.

Created from the original design drawing in the William Morris Gallery archive, this design was intended for woven double cloth and features a motif of leaves, stems, rose sprays, acorns, and doves. Dove & Rose Haze wallpaper features a harmonious blend of nature’s elements, with bold, oversized leaves, with pops. Found alongside flowing vines of pale blue and peach, extending from beautifully iconic Morris flowers, creating the perfect perching area for couples of intricately designed doves in shared tones, all laid upon a white backdrop, creating any overall soft pastel design that envokes tranquility, elegance, and timeless beauty.

Absolutely stunning! Was easy to install. I had never installed a wallpaper that required adhesive on the wall, but it was so easy with this wall paper! Smoothed out like a dream! And it’sgorgeous! Highly recommend!. Anonymous. Lubbock, TX. Tue Jul 28 2026

Marigold was designed by William Morris and registered as a wallpaper in 1875. The pattern incorporates larger marigold flowers amongst sprays of willow-like leaves in a sub-pattern of smaller foliage and flowers. The monochrome pattern was produced in a wide variety of colorways. Morris also registered the design as printed cotton later in 1875, one of only three designs Morris specifically intended to be produced as both a textile and a wallpaper. This luxurious design adds an eye-catching element to this duo-toned wallpaper, making it the perfect choice for a sophisticated feel.

Beautiful, high quality wall paper that was easy to apply. I was also able to order another roll when I wanted more and it arrived quickly! Would definitely recommend. Sydney. Boston, MA. Fri Mar 21 2025

Acanthus leaves decorate many of Morris’s designs and are made a central feature in his ‘Acanthus’ pattern for wallpaper. First used in Ancient Greek friezes and on the capitals of Corinthian columns, these swirling, curling leaves have decorated walls and buildings ever since. Morris found this classical motif ideal for repeating patterns and believed the large pattern he created here was perfect for smaller rooms, creating a more restful atmosphere than a smaller, dense pattern. Acanthus Blue from William Morris displays the beauty of Morris’ large leafy designs in calming yet engaging deep blue and teal tones. The matte paper finish of this wallpaper accentuates the fusion of classical and contemporary.

Just received this fabulous wallpaper. It’s so beautiful in person. Will be a great update to my hall. Will send pictures when able. Chris. Atlanta, GA. Tue Dec 09 2025

This iconic pattern forms part of The Gallery’s collection of earlier printed chintz and wallpaper lengths. The design is based on the natural willow form, which was one of William Morris’ favorite motifs. Originally designed by William Morris as a wallpaper in 1887 and adapted for fabric in 1895, it is block printed in a diagonal branch pattern at Merton Abbey and combines abstraction with a gentle reminder of the outdoors. Simple yet stunning, Willow Bough Plum wallpaper displays trailing leaves with subtle boldness, complimented by popping rose-inspired orange, and is completed with a matte finish for a sophisticated modern feel.

Designed by John Henry Dearle in the early 20th Century, the Garden pattern includes bold foliage with contrasting leaf shapes, supporting a variety of flowers in full bloom including elegant lilies.  The design’s structured formation and selection of plants is suggestive of a carefully planned and tended garden. Garden Dusty Blue displays a variety of stunning muted shades, from cream and blush pink to muted mustard yellow and charcoal grey. All laid upon a white background, adding emphasis to this stunningly sweet and charming floral design.

This matt finish wallpaper would make any house feel like a home.

This hand block printed design features large sensual tulips and their curling leaves, intwined with foliage and small pimpernel flowers. The pattern is a wonderful example of William Morris’ sense of humour since on initial inspection your eye is drawn towards the dominating, graphic tulip heads and yet the name of the design is attributed to the secondary floral detail; the smaller Pimpernel flower. Pimpernel Spring Breeze displays a depth of detail through its multi-tonal palette of sage hues, subtly accentuated by notes of blush pink represented in the flowers featured weaving throughout and finally brought to life by a rich gold feature colour. This wallpaper comes in a matt finish, adding a contemporary feel to a classical design.

Although Morris regularly used birds in his designs, Brother Rabbit is his only repeating pattern to feature an animal. Designed in 1882, the design was originally created using wood blocks, which are now in the collection of the William Morris Gallery. Morris’s skilled team of printers would use up to 25 blocks per design in order to create his dense patterns. Brother Rabbit wallpaper features beautifully entwined leaves and trees in cream and deep mustard yellow, with accents of light blush pink. Then hidden within the foliage, you will be able to find birds and brother rabbit, beautifully coloured in that same cream tone, found under multi-tonal leaves, all laid upon a deep background. Perfect for creating a fresh and welcoming feel within any home.

Honeysuckle was created by William Morris' daughter May in 1883. Perhaps William Morris’s most recognisable design, Strawberry Thief was inspired by the thrushes that crept under Morris’s strawberry nets in his garden at Kelmscott Manor, Oxfordshire. The original pattern took several days to print using hand-carved woodblocks to build up the different colours, and ‘Strawberry Thief’ was consequently one of Morris’s firm’s most expensive cottons. Whilst waiting to see the first piece printed, Morris endured sleepless nights in his lodgings at Merton Abbey. Designed in 1883, Strawberry Thief remains one of William Morris’s most popular and iconic designs. Strawberry Thief Washed Blue provides an artist interpretation of Morris' classic design, introducing multiple shades of beige with a deep teal blue, beautifully accented by pops of light cream, against a dark teal blue backdrop. Providing a soft intricacy to any room that it features in.

An abundance of ripened pomegranates hang from the branches of an overflowing tree amongst flora and fauna and print over fine branches in the background to give the design greater depth. One of the earliest Morris wallpaper designs was first produced in 1864, it has been reproduced in original colorways and updated with modern mica printing inks to create metallic finishes.

This wallpaper is stunning. We did have some rolls that had smearing which is somewhat expected with block printing. Customer service handled it beautifully and provided a refund for those rolls.. Jessica. St Charles, IL. Mon Feb 27 2023

Morris & Co. is thrilled to reintroduce Borage, an 1883 design by William Morris. Translated for the first time onto wallpaper, Borage is a spirited floral pattern with multiple symmetrical axes, lending the eye many pleasing resting points. Beloved by bees and other pollinators, Borage is a perfect example of William Morris drawing ideas about ornamenting interiors from the natural world. Borage re-enters the Morris & Co. range due to the collaboration collection with Emery Walker’s House, the historic home of noted typographer and close friend of William Morris, Sir Emery Walker.

A beautiful, monotone wallpaper featuring a pared-back representation of acorn branches, originally designed in 1879. The artwork was created using the original wooden Morris & Co. hand printing blocks and is now printed in wintery colorways.

So I want to say we have not put up the wallpaper yet but I don't think I need to before reviewing. The colors are great, it's extremely good if you're looking for something neutral and pops of color added in other areas. This pattern is exquisite.
