My piece just arrived, while it is a beautiful painting, i have to say it is ruined by the very, very high glass epoxy that was put on top of the painting. While this might afford protection, most art in floating frames do not have this. and it is not visible in the photos. They should have used either nothing or a non glare option. Because it causes great glare off the picture, taking away from the beautiful piece and making it look like a cheap poster. Not what I expected for this price. Kraten was born in 1974 in San Francisco and moved to Huntington Beach in Southern California at a young age. Here he was exposed to the street culture of skateboarding and graffiti, the cultural influences which can be seen as inspiration in his art. Aaron Kraten began painting on, as he put it, “some trash at work;” his work was discovered by his boss and coworkers, and from this point, his artistic career carried him to the forefront of the modern Southern California art scene. “I feel my work is abstract and structured.
